JAKARTA - The progress of Information Technology (IT) growing in Indonesia. New innovations are expected to since birth early. Seeing this, Oracle India trying to become the venue for educators and students.

And how that is done by the Oracle ThinkQuest platform to spread throughout the school, both SMA / SMK SMP or land in Indonesia.

"Since 2006, ThinkQuest has spread to schools, high schools of the country. Currently, there are 690 schools, with 1,375 students already registered," said Adi Rusli, Managing Director of Oracle India, when the signer Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), between Oracle indonesia and Diknas Jakarta, Senayan in Central Jakarta, Tuesday (31/3/2009)

ThinkQuest is a peyedia own facilities to integrate learning into the curriculum development project that will involve students to develop skills, especially in the IT field.

Furthermore, Robert explained that, forming ThinkQuest interactive site, similar to social networking. Here, the school already terdafar, can exchange knowledge with students in other countries.

Not only to exchange knowledge, students can create a creative developer, which are groups. A unique, one group of countries can be different.

"For example, one group can consist of people of Indonesia, India, USA. And mentor, can be from Austrlia," Robert demolished.

Added by Krishna Sistla, Oracle Education Initiatives Director, Asia Pacific, ThinkQuest is a program that is popular around the world, particularly Asia Pacific.

"ThikQuest get a positive response in more than 84 countries," claims Krishna.

And signing of MoU between Oracle and Diknas of Jakarta, is expected to encompass 500 new schools, with members of 50-thousand students.
