Releases AVG Anti-Malware Newest to Linux


WASHINGTON - The provider of security services, has launched the AVG security solutions for the newest Linux-based operating system. Solutions are made up of the package server and email protection that is contained in one package.

According to representatives of AVG Australia, Lloyd Borrett, AVG Server Edition 8.5 and AVG Antivirus 8.5 for Linux can be easier for the user to both individuals and large companies and internet service provider (ISP).

"Although not as much as in the Windows operating system, but Windows is malware and can impact on the Linux system, and AVG 8.5 for Linux will provide anti-malware solution," he said as quoted on Monday (11/5/2009).

Borret revealed, new features and benefits offered protection for Linux, among other antivirus filter that is capable of mengindai every virus attacks, worms, spyware, trojan and other malware.

AVG 8.5 for Linux has been tested on Mandrake, Mandriva, Fedora Core, Debian, SUSE, Red Hat, Red Flag and Ubuntu. The plan, AVG 8.5 for Linux will be available on May 15 to come.
